Today is a day where I am just not strong at all. I had a really bad night and have very little sleep in me. I just couldn't take one of THOSE days if you know what I mean. Trevor is being so good. Hello energy

Yesterday my goal was to get half of my final started. I did....I got the apartment semi cleaned up before Jeff got home. So as soon as he gets home with my shadow no more then 4 feet behind me in her swing, bouncy seat, or the floor I cooked a very yummy dinner, cleaned the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. I then washed, dried, folded and put away 2 large loads of laundry leaving us one left to do. So I wake up this a.m. with nothing to do besides finish my final which I will attempt tomorrow when my dorky husband goes with his brother to see RAMBO. SUCH A DORK! O and its 9:34 and Trev still isn't up LAZY BONES. But he is a child you do know wake up...reminds me of Godzilla when you do..No thanks. Aubrey is blowing kisses at me...I make kissing noises and she sucks in her bottom lip and does the same thing over again and giggles too cute!

Being a mommy

I am like any mom. I have my good and bad days. I really don't know how I ever survived without my babies.

As I sit down writing this Trev and I are going back and forth singing Patty Cake. He does the motions and we go through mommy, Aubrey and Trev for the end of the song when you say (name)and me. He now ran in his room and is playing with his Spiderman figures singing pider man pider man pider man pider man. Hes so sweet.

Now Aubrey has discovered her hands and feet recently. She will stop dead in her tracks and just stare like holy crap what are these things. She just stares at them and I will talk to her in my very high pitch annoying baby voice and she giggles and starts shaking in excitement :)

I have a lot of bad days where I really suffer with getting anything done with them. If you know me you know I like my apartment spot less, I like my homework for school completed a week or two before its due. However Im learning to relax a little because I will never ever get this time back with my kids. I feel somedays Im not truly greatful for how great of an opportunity I have to be able to stay at home with my kids and witness everything myself.

Like the silly little things. Trevor just came in mommy I had a big accident in my underwear. So I felt his underwear and said yea you peed a little so go potty and I will wipe you down and put a new pair on. Just try better next time. Im not mad. Yea mommy but I Am mad I had a big accident...To cute!

I am also struggling with breastfeeding. With Trevor I tried for 3 weeks he was so ill he had to go back to the hospital, I got infected so we just put him on formula. With Aubrey she took to it like a champ. She wont take pacifiers so I have a feeling getting her on the bottle will be hell. She also is very attached to me. I am the only one who can put her to sleep, the only one who can really soothe her, she wont let many people hold her even if Jeff holds her she has her eye on me. Its just very frustrating that I cant ever take a few hours for myself because she will need to eat. I know if I quit I will feel like a complete failure and really beat myself up over it. Noone ever told me breastfeeding would be so challenging. YAY! Yankee Candle

This is 31 Yankee Candle candles should have retailed for $61.69. I paid according to online which I'm gonna believe till I see my credit card statement $21.73 according to the packing slip I paid $15.57 which would make it a even sweeter deal! I have a candle normally going in each room when I am home. So this saved me a TON for next fall/Christmas! Some may call me crazy but I'm laughing all the way to the bank with all the savings I am doing :)

Spiderman

I feel since I had Aubrey well since I got prego and was so sick, then to big, then on bed rest I don't do nearly as many special things for Trev as we used to do. So I found out a new BRU/TRU combo was opening and Spiderman (Trevor's hero) was going to be making a special appearance. So we drive a hour there and didn't tell him. We saw Clifford the big red dog first and Trev was kinda scared but just wanted me to hold him. Then we saw Geoffrey the HUGE giraffe and he ran right up to him gave him a high five. So I'm thinking hes gonna s*&t himself when he sees Spiderman. He sees him and his jaw drops. We had to walk to the back of the store and Spiderman followed us. Trev was just staring. Then when it came time to see him he wouldn't budge. So I walked him over and he just stared finally gave him a high five. Then he just stood and stared at him for a good 15 mins. He was so happy. I love seeing him smile that big and hearing those cute words...Shanks mommy(Shanks is Thanks)

Very grumpy!

I have a 4.5 almost 5 month old not a newborn I wish she would realize this. She has been going to bed at 9:30(thank god) so I get a little bit of time to myself but she is still up every 3 hours. Sometimes she will go a little longer but she wakes up to nurse and goes right back to sleep. I just want ONE full nights sleep. I could kick myself for not offering her bottles when we were supposed to, since now she just wont take one. I try and be mad but then I see those gums grinning at me and I just cant. Shes so lucky she has that going for her!!

My husband DOES NOT have the cuteness factor. Yesterday he gets outta work early and decides to put a battery in my truck. Fine it kinda needs a new one anyways. Even better hes gonna pick up the boss and take him too. So I cant make dinner cause I don't know when they will be home. Long story short they get back at 5 and I didn't get to eat dinner till 7:30! I hate eating that late. Then Aubrey was clinging to me as usual not letting me get a damn thing done. So I still have dishes to clean.

Along with cleaning the kitchen I would like to run to Shaw's today and take part in their AWESOME taco deal. Looks like you have to buy a package of tortillas and ground beef and you get salad, cheese and Salsa for FREE! I think I have coupons for the tortillas. I would also like to check and see if Targets baby clearance went to 75 percent yet. I'm sure it did and I missed it and I will be annoyed. I also need to get a final started that is due Sunday. So much to do and so little time in a day to do it all.

Meal planning, and end of the month budget

My week has officially started down one kid :) My mom took Trevor for the day! I do have a clean house, one thing down. Laundry is all caught up! I do need to make a meal plan for the remainder of the month. It seems like we are eating the same things over and over again. I have a very wide range of things I will eat or at least try, Jeff not so much(grrr)

YAY! NO MORE DEBT! Now its time to save save save for this house that we want! We followed our budget very good this past month. Went a little over for gas, a little over for shopping(however in the long run saved a ton so I wont be over spending for Christmas :))

Christmas 2008

We have a Christmas/Birthday budget of 2k. I always like to be as under budget as I possibly can. So I shop all year round on clearance if I can. We have 3 cousins, 2 moms, 1 dad, 1 brother, and 10 nieces and nephews along with our children.

Thank you Target! I got for 144.01 8 kids off of our list done, and a good start on stocking stuffers and gifts for Trevor. I should have paid 576 for all of the stuff I bought. :)
